LEDs never light up! Is this normal?

Got a 2nd hand board on eBay which appeared to be an original virgin (?) Proxmark3 board.
Re-flashed the board using JTAG, re-flashed bootloader, fpga and os.

Can access the board via "prox.exe" and run "version" and "tune" commands.

> version
#db# Prox/RFID mark3 RFID instrument
#db# bootrom: svn 486 2011-07-28 18:30:43
#db# os: svn 486-unclean 2011-07-28 19:03:33
#db# FPGA image built on 2009/ 8/28 at 23:49:10

However ... none of the LEDs light up, not when I connect the board to the USB port nor when it boots into OS.
In fact, I've never seen any of the LEDs to light up on my board.

Is this normal?

Please, advise.

Can access the board via "prox.exe"

You need to run client from SVN 486

Compiled SVN 486 under Ubuntu 11.04.
Used newly compiled flasher to flash bootrom, fpga and os.

proxmark3> hw version
#db# Prox/RFID mark3 RFID instrument
#db# bootrom: svn 486-unclean 2011-07-31 13:52:59
#db# os: svn 486-unclean 2011-07-31 13:53:01
#db# FPGA image built on 2009/12/ 8 at  8: 3:54

Still no LEDs light on the board. Did I miss something?
Thanks in advance!

Got it on eBay sometime in March, the link already expired.
Previous owner got it from UK.
