Windows client crashing - hardware or software?

Please see screenshots:

This appears to happen with all command involving using the radio.
I've just bought the proxmark. How do I know the hardware is ok rather than a sopftware problem.

As you can see from the screenshots I'm using -r52.

Re: Windows client crashing - hardware or software?

I think this could be due to a mismatch of the onboard firmware to what software I am running.

Since I bought mine premade and used I don't know what firmware version I have.

How do I find out? If I run the `version` command that command is not recognized.

Of course, I could just flash the firmware on so I then know what version I'm running (of all 3 areas), but I'd rather not take the risk of messing it up unless I really have to.
