I'm a security consultant, and I am interested in verifying the security of our customer's access systems.
I have an RFIDier, Chameleon Mini and just got a Proxmark3 rdv2.
My immediate question is in testing HID iClass cards and systems.
I'm confused on the order of actions necessary to verify the type of card (Standard, High, Elite), and how to test if this is the case.
I'm also confused if the tests are against the card, or the reader, or both (passive sniffing).
And if a problem is found, I may have to prove this to others.
Any help is appreciated.
