arm-eabi-gcc: Command not found

Hi everybody,

i'm trying to compile the latest svn version. I used this manual to compile the new version: http://code.google.com/p/proxmark3/wiki … x_Platform

I'm currently running Ubunty 9.10 x64. After the make command i get the following error message:

make: arm-eabi-gcc: Command not found.

I tried to find this command but it's not on my system. What did i wrong?

Re: arm-eabi-gcc: Command not found

Did you install an arm-eabi cross compiler? If so, did you put it in your path?
If not, you could install DevkitARM

BTW, the wiki is partially outdated.

Okay, that was easy.  I downloaded the devkitARM, path the path to my .bashry and it worked. Thanks for help.

Re: arm-eabi-gcc: Command not found

It would be nice if the Wiki was updated.
It seems very little of it applies any more.  The loaders want elf files, the command names have all changed, and the compilation instructions don't work.  Hmm...

Perhaps the easiest change would be to name a specific SVN version to pull that actually fits the docs, rather than the command to pull the trunk?
