Where should I purchase a PM3 from?

Hey All,

Not sure if this is the right place to post my question but tought it is relevant.

I am willing to buy a PM3 to try cloning my access card but I am lost with the selections I have found so far in the forum.

1) http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=2013.1.0.0.Skk0LV&id=45183029639 - ELECHOUSE

2) http://meal.taobao.com/mealDetail.htm?spm=a1z10.1-c.w5003-9882096718.5.ULxOtT&meal_id=150318230&seller_id=817724908&mt=&scene=taobao_shop - RADIOWAR

3) http://xfpga.com/e_products/?big_id=17 - GEZHI ELECTRONIC

My first question is - Are they all same as the original product (http://proxmark3.com/products/pm3kit) except being cheaper?

Secondly - What is the best option out of those 3 Chinese sellers and those 3 different products?

I hope you guys can help me with this inquiry, thanks heaps guys a lot of great work I have read through the forums so far!!!  smile

Re: Where should I purchase a PM3 from?

I have purchased from proxmark3.com in the past and would recommend them based on my experience.
I was thinking of getting another PM3 from here instead but they have "Foreign customers do not pay, please click on this link:" at the top of the listing hmm

Re: Where should I purchase a PM3 from?

I think what they are trying to do by saying that is, they are trying to direct the foreign customers to the right link I am guessing.

But my question is still, are they the same items? Do they eventually end up doing the same thing, if so I would rather save $250 because I might use it to buy other things...  big_smile

Re: Where should I purchase a PM3 from?

Most are built from the same original plans but may have slight modifications based on component availability, proxmark3.com, xfpga, radiowar.

There is 1 new board out now that is a bit different and that is the elechouse.  Not been heavily used or tested as not many out there yet.

The proxmark3.com boards I've never heard of anyone having issues with.

Some issues have been reported on xfpga boards.
Not familiar with radiowars boards.

Re: Where should I purchase a PM3 from?

Great support and response guys, thanks heaps!

@marshmellow - with these products I am guessing we would be able to more or less do the same tasks and get the same results is that right?

As mentioned above my main goal at this stage is, to be able to clone my access card. I am not planning to use the PM3 for heavy research for now...

Re: Where should I purchase a PM3 from?

Assuming you get a functioning non defective board you should be able to do the same basic tasks with any one of them...  (Not all come with antennas and not all can easily take a battery for stand alone use)
