Problem cloning HID 125khz card. Seems not 84 or 44 bits

Hi,

I have cloned some HID cards before onto T55x7 cards successfully.

But I am having problems with one that has a longer ID.

Note: I have changed a couple of the characters below for privacy reasons but the number of characters is the same.

TRIED USING the L at the end of the Command:
proxmark3> lf hid clone 9e0000000100001xxxxx... l
Cloning tag with long ID 9e000000010000xxx
#db# Tags can only have 84 bits.
proxmark3>

TRIED WITHOUT THE L:
proxmark3> lf hid clone 9e0000000100001xx...
Cloning tag with ID 100001xx...
#db# Tags can only have 44 bits.
proxmark3>

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you did this one before?

9 e0 00 00 00 10 00 01 [removed by admin at request],..
4 + 11*8 = 92bits..

Looks like its working like it should..

Re: Problem cloning HID 125khz card. Seems not 84 or 44 bits

Thanks for the reply.

I hadn't done this tag before.

But I have solved it now.  When doing the clone command, I just needed to enter the last 17 characters.
eg:
lf hid clone 000100001xxx... l

And not: lf hid clone 9e0000000100001xxx... l

The clone function can only do the 44 bit or 84 bit formats as it is telling you.
