That would be nice, I'm sure there are more people here that want to order one, maybe it will be cheaper if you order more of them. I hope you can keep us informed when you know more about the price.

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

hi, all

now, I just put a file that resume the price for an estimate of 2 PROXmarkII3.
not easy to organize an order together.
several question:
- just PCBs
- buy components and send.
- allow any company to manage.

For my part I think soon be able to achieve. thank you for informing me if I do foresee an order together.
it must be possible to send two different address command.
But it takes a single account to pay.
There are plenty of questions, from the moment where we think for everyone.

thanks

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

I currently have an empty board but the complete order of parts has been difficult.  I think some of the parts have been obsoleted making the construction of the current design harder to put achieve.

If anyone has parts or knows of a house that can get the parts and solder, I'm very interested.

Thanks,

Don

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

So what's the latest on this? I see there's a lot of interest (including me).
Is this still going ahead? What's the estimated price, and is this order for the PCB only, a kit or a fully assembbled proxmark?

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

Hi guys, new here... I posted this on another thread but I might as well shoot it here too.

I have like 90 Proxmark3 PCBs, I've been getting 10-20 made and then selling them. I gave away A LOT of the pcb's to people I thought would benefit from them (which most of them have) and they contributed a lot back to the community.

I created an updated EXCEL list with all WORKING part numbers for the proxmark3. The first time I went to order these like 20% of the numbers were obsoleted by Digikey / Mouser / etc.

Presents for you: http://theqlabs.com/Proxmark3_Updated.xls

Don't worry about all the colors and stuff, the info there is good. That's all you need. I ordered most things from Digikey and the rest from Mouser.

I am willing to help anyone out who has questions getting orders done, placement houses, PCB's made, soldering SMD 0603, programming / flashing whatever.

I will hopefully check this forum occasionally, if not e-mail me:

q@theqlabs.com

Cheers,

oh btw: my boards were made with black soldermask, they look so much sexier! hehe

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

havent got a lot of replies yet.. seems some of the companies are bit 'scared' of the complexity of the device (that in relation with the low quantities).
I'll keep looking for some manufactures but I think I should be looking for smaller companies instead of the bigger ones with big product lines.

Roel you have any news from other people for manufacturing?

SummoningDark posted in this topic some useful information about ordering the PCB.
http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=76

right now, I only have the one I'm working on and another partially populated. but it would not be hard to place a re-order with the board house. They cost me $66 each with a minimum of 3 and ~$15 shipping. So I could get you one (or 3) for about $213 + shipping.  Or you could place the order yourself, and not have to wait for me. I get them made by Advanced Circuits, www.4pcb.com with the $66 special for 4 layers. You can upload the gerbers from the zip file online and order with a credit card. quick and painless. They are also very helpful if you have questions or problems. And if you are a student they will waive the minimum of 3, although I would recommend getting at least two, since it is easy to pull up pads if you do the surface mount parts by hand. (epically if you use solder wick to clean things up, be VERY careful with that). and judging from my problems, stay away from the at91sam7s512. maybe we can get a bunch of people together to make a bulk buy of boards, then no one person has to buy more than they need($66 is cheap for a 4-layer, but it's still not free)

good luck

There are more parties available that can solder the unit for you. The PCB is the hardest peace to order. But since this company makes them really cheap this would be maybe interesting for a large order. Maybe someone wants to jump into this. It seems there is quite some demand for this device.

Cheers,

  Roel

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

Hi Everybody!

i saw many people would like oreder pcb's. I paid the first high qualty manufacturing price (~600$) when i made my own proxmark. Now i can reorder many as i want.
I made a little temporary shop, you can buy what you want. I have some spare parts on the shop.
The postage is a standard international air mail (this was the lowest price)

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

ROEL,
SummoningDark,
d18c7db,

SummoningDark has posted that we should stay away from the at91sam7s512,
but d18c7db has made some fixes and uploaded a file in the " Files " section of this website, * I THINK * Correcting this....  Is this correct?

Sh0rt,  your website,

 http://shop.vallum.hu/catalog/

shows you are providing the boards without the components.

Are you using d18c7db's updated .zip file ?

Roel, SummoningDark, & d18c7db, I'd like to thank you all for efforts.

You guys are GREAT!

Please keep up the good work smile

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

Just to clarify, my fix had nothing to do with the 512. The bug it addressed seemed to be in the original code and affected any ARM flavour when the "loread" command was used. This was due to the stack pointer being initialized to a low RAM address that fell within the BigBuff range.

I'm going to look at adding a color LCD to the board next, I think the best option is this which is a cheap Nokia, widely available color LCD, only requires 4 signal pins at 3.3v (serial connection) and someone has alreay written sample ARM code to drive it. Should be a breeze. I've ordered one off ebay for under $10 incl shipping, hopefully I'll get it before I go on holiday and I'll post pictures of the results. Ideally I should also add a couple more buttons to teh board to allow a simple menu system to be implemented but at the very least the LCD could be used for status messages and other simple output.

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

rfider,

Thats a cool name smile

TheQLabs, though he has had your $ since November, and I am assuming
no contact with you hence the reason why you posted.

http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=283#p283.

I see he has no problems posting, DAILY, to his Twitter Website.

https://m.twitter.com/theqlabs

Sh0rt,

Your Website:

http://shop.vallum.hu/catalog.

HAD all the components to build the Proxmark3, including the boards,
but now, *SUDDENLY*, all you are selling is the ARM256 chip....

Yes, the

 http://proxmark3.com.

seems more professional
and YES I did get a reply / response from whomever is running that site.
If I were the owner, I'd make sure I'd be in touch with those interested in
parting with $499 STARTING to get a professional Proxmark3.  smile

Anyways,  the only people I would trust at this point is the following:

d18c7db
SummoningDark
roel - Administrator

And NO I am not saying they are selling anything, but they have
provided us with EXCELLENT posts / threads/ information smile

Just my 2 cents.

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

I suggest you keep trying Andrew from theqlabs, you should have some progress. I got some PCBs from him and I had similar problems where it took about a month for him to post them after I paid him. At the time he'd come down with a bug and also had to travel overseas so that delayed the whole transaction but he was responsive to emails and very apologetic.

For components why not use digikey.com as I did. I used the updated excel component list that theqlabs posted recently and fed that straight into digikey. Total cost of components as about $150 or so but you have to do your own soldering and you still need to get the PCB separately.

Re: Ordering of new proxmarks

Thank you for your comments.
Qlabs has told me that is having troubles tunning the device, so I have not problem to wait him.
My problem is that I´m not in US and my country is very hard to order components from foreing countries. For that reason, he is going to send me all pcb and components and antenna also, all assembled.

So, let´s wait..... and then I´ll tell you

Thank you again for your comments

My 2 cents: just received a Proxmark3 from JR, everything went very smooth, the board looks nice, and excellent reactivity! Took a week between ordering & reception.
