mysterious DX "Programmable/Writable RFID keychain"

DealExtreme is selling a mysterious "Programmable/Writable RFID keychain" here, and there's some question as to what it actually is and/or if it's actually writable.

I bought one and read it with my PM3, and got the following sample trace ... anyone have any opinions on what it might be?

I stongly suspect you'll find it's a Q5 card.  You'll also find that Deal Extreme sells a 'cloner' to read EM410x cards and write to tags like this.

I've looked at a blank Deal Extreme cloner card and it's not a Q5 - no idea what it is, though! I'm planning to order one of these and sniff the commands sent to program it...

That would be most appreciated.

Re: mysterious DX "Programmable/Writable RFID keychain"

I've got one of the Deal Extreme cloners and card and had just presumed it's a Q5.

Worked like a dream to clone what I thought was one of my EM410x tags.

If I can find where I put my PM3, I could sniff the commands.
