DiY antenna building problems

Hey guys,
yesterday I tried to copy a Legic prime key fob and have some problems with my antenna. I could read the fob but had to be very close to the antenna (0,5cm). The best result I could get was 8.5V and I really tried a lot of shapes and turns and diameters. I read all the posts I could find with antennas with 12V and more, but they didn't work with my proxmark.

Is it possible I have the 100pF Version of proxmark? How can I check this? I found the the capacitor on the board, but there is no value written on it.

My client version is 715, my firmware 716, my fpga 716. Should I update to the lates trunk?
