indeed this looks like a very interesting tool. Though it seems to be able to do the same kind of thing as the duplicator from Russia ![]()
It seems to be very interesting device with open design for only $50
ProxPick will be available in kit form at the end of October 2009, for around $50.
Full schematics and source code will be released on H4RDW4RE.com under a
GPL-compatible license as soon as the first production devices ship.
Roel,
I am looking for it from the beginning. First it was announced that it will be ready to sell at the end of September
I cannot wait another 21 days till the end of October ![]()
Interesting tool with interesting modes (Sniff, ActiveShield and others)

Latest info from the ProxPick people (as sent to mailing list):
"I wanted to provide you with an update to the ProxPick availability. While we are still targeting 10/31/09 for the first units to ship, we have decided not to accept pre-orders yet. We continue to make new improvements to the unit, and have decided that it was best to include features and functionality for our initial run. However, we know that we need to ship, so are now in the process of finalizing our design set and committing these features to the unit so that the v1.0 kit will be stamped “ready to ship.”
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding, and will keep you informed of our progress."
Hello,
I sent email to join to mailing list, but no answer yet ![]()
Improvements are good to see - good to us ![]()
I have been working in a similar project called "Open RFID Interface".
It is not already published, mainly because there is a lot of things to debug and to document. However, you can be interested in a compliment project: Open RFID Tag
http://www.t4f.org/projects/open-rfid-tag
The schematics and firmwares are available there.
